The Ninth Judicial Circuit Historical Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and education of the law and the key legal events that have happened in the Ninth Circuit.
The exhibit for 2018 is a six-panel exhibition illustrating the Fourteenth Amendment in part, that no state can "deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws." Over the past 150 years, Congress and the courts have applied this "Equal Protection Clause" to our right to equal education.
The exhibition has toured the Western United States and has been displayed in federal courthouses in Phoenix, Pasadena, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Boise, Anchorage, Honolulu, as well as Washington D.C. You can view the panels on the NJCHS website here.
